2024-25 Business Development Fellow

Katie Haddad recently completed her year as a 2024-25 Business Development Fellow with the Mike and Renée Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Katie shares, "The Business Development Fellowship was a valuable part of my graduate school experience, giving me the skills to translate scientific innovation into real-world impact. At the UC Davis Graduate School of Management, I collaborated with scientists, business students, and faculty mentors from diverse backgrounds, broadening my perspective and expanding my professional network. The fellowship equipped me to navigate the intersection of science and business more effectively, opening new opportunities for growth and shaping my career path." 

Graduate students in Biomedical Engineering regularly participate in professional development opportunities with the Mike and Renée Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The Business Development Fellowship is the most extensive program with Fellows completing 5 Graduate School of Management courses alongside MBA students.
