Eden Winslow wins UC Davis Grad Slam

Eden Winslow, a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in the BMEGG, won first place at the 2026 UC Davis Grad Slam Semi-Final on April 3, earning a $5,000 prize. Her presentation, “Born Without a Hand: Changing the Narrative of Children’s Prostheses,” focused on how children born without a hand are capable of using advanced prosthetic devices by effectively engaging their arm muscles.
