We recently concluded the 2021 Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Retreat. The event included graduate students research talks (presenters: Brent Weyers, CJ Mileti, Donghoon Kim, Hanna Koster, Abby Niesen, Taryn Loomis, Alex Vargas, and Hannah O'Toole), a professional development discussion (panelists: Profs Blaine Christiansen, Crystal Ripplinger, and Robert Zawadzki and students Leora Goldbloom-Helzner, Robert Gresham, Hanna Koster, Abby Niesen, Brent Weyers), team building and ropes course activities led by the staff of Sierra Nevada Journeys, archery, hiking, trivia, and an impromptu session of karaoke. We hope everyone had an excellent experience and we look forward to the next event.
