Bio

Dr. Mehadji is a medical physicist whose work bridges clinical practice and research in nuclear medicine and radiation therapy. His group combines Monte Carlo modeling (GATE/Geant4) with novel radiation detector development to advance quantitative imaging and precision dosimetry, with applications ranging from radiopharmaceutical therapy (⁹⁰Y radioembolization, ¹⁷⁷Lu-PSMA) to Compton imaging for biopsy guidance and prompt-gamma imaging for proton range verification. His current projects also explore ultra-high magnetic fields to confine secondary electrons during radiosurgery, and total-body PET to strengthen biological modeling and accelerate clinical translation.
